Curriculum Overview

Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
Our TK program provides young students with an opportunity to learn and play in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.  Building a bridge between the preschool years and traditional kindergarten, our program gives our students the skills and confidence that will help them succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
Students develop their spiritual understanding, academic knowledge, and social skills while participating in both small and whole group settings.
As we prepare 21st century learners, technology, STREAM, physical education, and music are included in the curriculum alongside religion, reading, writing, math and content areas.

  • A child must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the academic year he/she is seeking admission.
  • Children must be fully toilet-trained
  • Preschool is highly encouraged
  • Teacher recommendation is recommended (if applicable)

Kindergarten (K)
Saint Hedwig School provides a comprehensive Kindergarten curriculum, incorporating Common Core
standards. Additionally, students participate in music, STREAM and physical education classes each week.
In Kindergarten, students are actively engaged in their learning through hands-on learning experiences,
