St. Hedwig School is pleased to announce that we will be adding a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) to our program beginning September, 2016. Transitional Kindergarten provides children with an opportunity to learn in an enriching and developmentally appropriate environment that nurtures the student’s growth. This two-year Kindergarten program builds a bridge between the preschool years and traditional kindergarten. Research shows that children who attend readiness programs such as Transitional Kindergarten are more likely to do well in future schooling. By offering a Transitional Kindergarten program we believe we are helping the students get the best start possible with a curriculum designed just for them.
