For their service project this year, the Second Graders chose to support Precious Life, a local organization that provides a home and resources for moms and babies in need. The Second Graders used their own money and purchased baby clothes, food, blankets, toys, and other necessities that could be used by both the moms and their babies. What was very exciting, is that the Second Graders were also visited by Theresa Murphy, the director of Precious Life, Santa, Wendy, a mom who resides at the center, and baby Nova, Wendy's adorable daughter. The Second Graders were so excited to ask Wendy questions about Nova, and their life together at Precious Life. It was a wonderful, heartwarming experience for all.
