Basketball at St. Hedwig is something I look forward to every year. It is always a great chance to get to know your classmates better and get to know kids in different grades. It is also pretty cool to represent your school and be supported by all the other students. Whenever all the teams have home games, the stands are packed with Celtic fans who come and show their Celtic spirit. St. Hedwig basketball is a program I am proud to be a part of.

Basketball has played a huge part in my life at St. Hedwig. Being a member of the team helped me make friends that were either older or younger than me depending on what grade I was in; not to mention it has helped me develop my basketball skills. The basketball experience has also assisted me in starting to develop friendships with players from other schools and teams. This team has given me an outlet if I am feeling overwhelmed by school or angry at something. Basketball at St. Hedwig has helped me and will help everyone in the future to develop great teamwork and life skills.
