A Rosary for Every Child

October is full of many things - fall leaves, crisp air, excitement for the holidays, and, most importantly, it is the month of the Rosary.  The Rosary is a beautiful form of prayer that focuses on the mysteries of Mary and Jesus, and is devoted to our Mother Mary.  To allow for students to understand the great importance of this form of prayer, Mrs. Pelayo, our 8th Grade teacher, worked tirelessly with our Character Education Ministry members to collect and count a Rosary for each of our students.  At our Mass on October 4th, the Rosaries were blessed by Father Dan, and then sent to each classroom to be displayed for student use.  They were included at our Living Rosary celebration the following Wednesday, October 9th.
