Kindergarten Scientists Create a Lab Report

Hands on learning is important to us at St. Hedwig School. In science, our Kindergarten students learned how to make a hypothesis and record the results by making a pumpkin lava lamp.

5th Grade Science Experiment Reminds Us of Love

As part of fifth grade's experiments on the changing state of matter, Grace Twomey turned sugar water into crystals.

She got a big surprise when it was done — a perfect heart.

The world is still full of love, Celtics.

STEM Learning Continues At Home

Our middle school science teacher continues to engage our students with STEM projects through distance learning. Students were challenged to create something with a paper towel. Check out a few of the their projects.

Spreading Joy to Nurses on the Front Lines

At St. Hedwig School, we're all about showing gratitude and love for our community. All students were encouraged to make cards, posters or videos to let those on the front lines in the hospitals know how much we appreciate their efforts to keep us all safe and healthy.

Support Our Volley-A-Thon: Nov. 19 + 20

Our goal is two-fold: Have a fun event for students that encourages a healthy lifestyle and raise money for the general fund to keep tuition low and offset COVID-19 costs

Distance Learning is a Success

Our dedicated teachers are successfully utilizing Google Classroom, Kidblog, Zoom, and Flipgrid to guide students through the curriculum. Even though our students are at home, they are still learning and connecting with teachers and classmates.

Open House: 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26

St. Hedwig is more than a faith-based elementary and middle school. It's a nurturing atmosphere in which students are inspired to be learners with curiosity and leaders with compassion.
