CELTIC LIFE
Lead in Learning. Grow in Faith. Live as a Celtic.
“Never will I forget the person that St. Hedwig School has made me. Over nine years as a student, the teachers and leaders of this school have shaped my character, faith, and success. The lessons that St. Hedwig has taught me, whether big or small, will never leave me.”
– Austin Foy
Visitors to Campus
At St. Hedwig Catholic School, student and staff safety is our top priority. To ensure a secure campus environment, all visitors during school hours must follow the check-in procedure:
- Check in at the front office upon arrival
- Present valid photo ID for screening through the Raptor visitor system
- Wear the printed visitor badge visibly while on campus
This process helps staff and students easily identify approved visitors. Before leaving, all guests must return to the office to sign out and return their visitor badge.
For the safety of our community, no one may enter classrooms or walk the campus without signing in and wearing proper identification.
Partnerships with Law Enforcement
We are proud to partner with the Los Alamitos Police Department, Seal Beach Police Department, California Highway Patrol, Orange County Sheriff Department, and the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base to help ensure the safety and well-being of our school community. These relationships support emergency preparedness, campus security, and a visible commitment to student safety.

Safety & Security
At St. Hedwig Catholic School, we are deeply committed to the safety and well-being of every student, staff member, parent, and visitor.
We believe that a strong, connected school culture is essential to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. When students, families, and staff feel valued and supported, safety becomes something we create together.
By working in partnership, we can exceed safety standards and ensure that every member of our community feels secure, included, and cared for. To support this, we have a full-time campus safety officer who helps maintain a safe environment for learning, play, and all daily activities across our campus.
ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
At St. Hedwig Catholic School, students are expected to uphold the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and personal responsibility in all academic work.
Students must submit original work on all assignments, assessments, papers, projects, and homework. Academic dishonesty is not tolerated and may result in both academic and disciplinary consequences.
DRESS CODE
At St. Hedwig Catholic School, our student uniform reflects our shared identity, values, and commitment to learning as Disciples of Christ.
Our uniform policy fosters a sense of community and equality, reminding students that they are all valued equally in the eyes of God.
By minimizing distractions, the uniform allows students to focus on what truly matters — their faith, their learning, and their character.
We believe that how a student presents themselves influences their attitude, behavior, and academic mindset. Our dress code promotes neatness, pride in appearance, and habits that support respect and self-discipline — qualities that extend far beyond the classroom.
