Miss Brookes was born and raised in Newport Beach. Before joining St. Hedwig, she taught in the Newport Mesa Unified School District. She was a reading intervention teacher for grades K-3 then taught 2nd grade. Miss Brookes believes that learning should be fun and engaging. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, and dogs.
