Character Education Student Committee

Student Ministry

 

Students in Grades 5-8 are invited to serve in the Character Education Ministry.  Through participation, students develop leadership skills, display their creativity, promote community service, and inspire other students. 

 

 

Students are involved in the following activities:

  • Present information about character virtues at Morning Assembly
  • Maintain/update bulletin boards with community service opportunities
  • Maintain/update bulletin boards focusing on character virtues
  • Maintain/update bulletin board outside room A with definitions of SLEs
  • Maintain/update Celtic of the Month bulletin board
  • Help coordinate Celtic of the Month Assemblies
  • Assist with Teacher Recognition Program
  • Lead one or two assemblies throughout the school year
  • Organize one service project every trimester (i.e. Stuffed for Love)
  • Publicize Character virtue of the month by making posters and banners
