School Assemblies

Various assemblies are hosted throughout the year to enhance the learning taught in the classroom.  Designed to nurture the whole child and develop their mind, body, and spirit, we host assemblies on a variety of topics.  Students learn to say no to bullying and that they have the power to make change and they learn the importance of respecting themselves and others. See below for just a few examples of the assemblies we are proud to host.

Dr. Seuss Day:

Organized by the Assistant Principal and Reading Mentor group, students in Grades K-3 attended an assembly dedicated to Dr. Seuss, highlighting the importance of reading and never giving up!  The Reading Mentor group (select group of 4th/5th grade students) acted out Horton Hatches an Egg, performed a choral read with their first grade partners, and coordinated a rhyming game!  We are proud of their hard work and leadership!
