Advanced Math Program

The Advanced Math program for grades 6 - 8 supports the high achievement of all students.  Leveled math classes enable teachers to deliver instruction based on student ability and therefore, meet the needs of all students.  

Students in the advanced classes are challenged and move at a faster pace.  Placement in the program is based on an exam taken at the end of 5th grade, math grades, standardized test scores, and teacher recommendation.  Each year, students in grades 6 - 8 have an opportunity to test for placement. Transfer students may take the test during our July or August date before the start of the school year.
