8th Graders visit the Museum of Tolerance

Museum of Tolerance

The eighth grade class went on a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance. This is a place that teaches and shows you what life was like during the Holocaust and times of racism. This was a very educational and emotional place for us to go to because it talked about forms of hatred and segregation of all different types of people.

At the end of the tour, a Holocaust survivor explained the tragedy of the Holocaust to us, told us what life was like and how terrible it was for all of the Jewish men, women and children who went through it. Overall, this experience made us much more aware of prejudice all over the world.
